
Mr. Balch first practiced law in Washington, D.C., in the area of communications and administrative law. He relocated to Michigan in 1986 where he was general counsel to a multiple station radio station owner. In 1994 he moved to Auburn, Alabama, where his wife is on the faculty at Auburn University.
